Job Summary
Providing essential support in insurance clearance, the temporary full-time Financial Access Specialist - WA will coordinate the insurance authorization process for various medical services while working 100% remotely for a duration of up to 6 months.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the insurance clearance process and verify insurance coverage and benefits for facility and professional services
- Review scheduled appointments and obtain necessary insurance authorizations through payer administrators
- Assist uninsured patients with Medicaid/Charity eligibility screening and prepare cost estimates for patients
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or GED certificate
- One year of experience in a medical office setting
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements
