Job Summary
Responsible for the accuracy and timely delivery of Financial Aid regulatory reporting, the fully remote Financial Aid Analytics Manager will develop data analytics capabilities, prepare complex reports, and serve as the primary subject-matter expert in reporting and analytics for the Financial Aid department.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and validation of federal, state, and institutional Financial Aid reports, ensuring compliance with deadlines and accuracy
- Develop SQL queries and datasets for operational reporting, analytics, and decision support, translating data findings into actionable insights
- Collaborate with various institutional departments to maintain data quality, support regulatory compliance, and implement changes based on evolving reporting requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Finance, Higher Education Administration, or a related field
- Progressive experience in financial aid, higher education reporting, or a closely related analytical function
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization or business intelligence tools
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex reporting deliverables and work with large relational datasets
- Preferred experience with Title IV programs and various federal reporting requirements
