Financial Aid Manager

Job Summary

Managing the financial status of student loan applications, the full-time remote Financial Aid Manager will oversee the performance of the Financial Aid team, ensure students receive necessary financial counseling, and track FAFSA completion and gap funding.

Key responsibilities:

• Track and report on the financial status of new domestic students, including FAFSA completion and gap funding
• Supervise Financial Aid Representatives to ensure students complete the financial aid process and receive necessary counseling
• Assist with training new Financial Aid Representatives and facilitate financial aid workshops and events

Required qualifications:

• Thorough understanding of federal, state, and financial aid programs
• Six years of Financial Aid experience, preferably in higher education
• Proven experience in leading diverse teams and training staff
• Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze data and communicate complex information clearly
• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
