Job Summary

Providing expert analytical and financial services, the full-time remote Financial Analyst 2, Connecticut will manage post-award functions, ensuring compliance and optimizing the use of research funds while collaborating with faculty and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial and budgetary management for a designated client portfolio, ensuring adherence to University and sponsor requirements
• Conduct complex strategic modeling to support resource planning and financial reporting for Principal Investigators' grants
• Develop and implement processes to mitigate risks associated with sponsor non-compliance and enhance internal controls

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business, or finance
• Four years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong computing skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel and database query tools
• Proven ability in problem-solving and data analysis
• Demonstrated superior customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
