Financial Analyst

Job Summary

To support the Sea-Based Weapons System Program Offices within the Missile Defense Agency, the full-time Financial Analyst will prepare funding documents, maintain accounting logs, and conduct financial analysis, primarily working remotely with occasional on-site support in Dahlgren, VA.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare funding documents using the DAI Finance & Accounting System and maintain accounting logs
• Conduct financial execution record keeping, analysis, and generate financial reports
• Resolve unmatched disbursements and reconcile unliquidated obligations while managing year-end closeouts

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of working experience in a financial role
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one
• Strong financial and data analytics skills with demonstrated experience in project support and reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
