Financial Analyst
Job Summary
To support NRG's Market Operations Power Businesses, the full-time Financial Analyst will create, consolidate, and analyze annual budgets and monthly forecasts while working in a hybrid environment that combines remote work and in-office presence four days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and analyze annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and reporting packages
- Prepare monthly variance analyses and investigate anomalies between actuals and budgets
- Foster relationships across departments to improve financial reporting processes and insights
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with financial management reporting systems
- One to two years of experience in operations, finance, or accounting
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication across various audiences
