Job Summary
Supporting the monthly customer billing cycle, the full-time remote Financial & Billing Analyst will transform raw data into invoice-ready outputs, manage SQL/Python queries, and develop Power BI dashboards while collaborating with Billing Operations and Accounting.
Key responsibilities
- Execute the monthly billing cycle, ensuring timely processing and delivery of customer invoices
- Develop and maintain SQL/Python queries and Databricks workflows for billing data analysis and reporting
- Reconcile billed revenue with ERP and Salesforce data, preparing journal entries and supporting schedules for month-end close
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in billing operations, financial analysis, or accounting
- Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel, with experience in data platforms like Databricks and reporting tools such as Power BI
- Working knowledge of billing processes, revenue recognition, and month-end close procedures
- Experience with financial systems such as Microsoft Dynamics GP/Business Central and Salesforce preferred
