Job Summary

Advising students on financial aid options and eligibility, the full-time Financial Assistance Advisor will utilize remote technologies to provide personalized guidance, analyze financial data, and ensure compliance with federal and institutional guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Advises students on financial aid methods, eligibility, and application procedures using remote communication tools
• Collects and analyzes financial data to determine aid eligibility and makes awards according to guidelines
• Evaluates unusual circumstances and adjusts financial assessments as necessary to support student needs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2-3 years of related experience in financial assistance or a similar field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CampusVue Student database preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Experience utilizing AI tools is preferred
