Job Summary
Leading the financial clearance process, the full-time Financial Clearance Representative Lead will telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. while overseeing patient interviews, verifying insurance eligibility, and mentoring staff to ensure efficient financial operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform financial clearance processes by interviewing patients and collecting necessary information for pre-registration
- Verify insurance eligibility and document information in Epic, ensuring patients understand their financial responsibilities
- Provide mentoring and daily workflow coaching to less experienced team members on revenue cycle and payer issues
Required qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience with Insurance and/or Benefit Verification activities in healthcare business office/insurance operations
- 1+ years of experience as a Financial Clearance Representative
- Ability to work Monday - Friday from 7 AM - 3:30 PM CST
- Must be 18 years of age or older
