Financial Clearance Supervisor

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Financial Clearance Supervisor will manage and develop the Financial Clearance Team, ensuring timely financial clearance prior to services, while working remotely and collaborating with leadership to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Financial Clearance Manager to set goals and strategies for the team
• Performs quality reviews of patient accounts for accuracy and compliance with financial clearance procedures
• Provides training and coaching for new employees and monitors adherence to policies and procedures

Required qualifications

• High school diploma required
• 5-7 years of financial clearance experience in a medical practice or healthcare setting required
• Understanding of managed care contract types, specialty insurance, and billing practices
• Strong computer skills, with significant experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and other government assistance programs and regulations
