Job Summary

Overseeing the daily operations of a team, the full-time Financial Clearance Supervisor will manage prior authorizations and patient estimations in a fully remote environment, ensuring adherence to workflows and performance goals while providing coaching and support to staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of financial clearance specialists, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery
• Monitor team productivity and quality, providing real-time support and coaching to enhance performance
• Collaborate with the A/R Team to identify denial trends and improve authorization processes

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in healthcare or business administration required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, focusing on prior authorizations or patient financial clearance
• 1+ year in a lead or supervisory role preferred
• Familiarity with payer requirements, insurance benefits, and financial counseling practices
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office
