Job Summary

Overseeing daily operations, the full-time Financial Clearance Supervisor will manage a team of specialists handling prior authorizations and patient estimations, ensuring adherence to workflows and performance goals in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise team activities related to prior authorizations and patient estimates, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
• Monitor productivity and quality metrics while providing real-time support and coaching to team members
• Assist with onboarding and training, fostering a collaborative team environment and addressing workflow challenges

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in healthcare or business administration required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, focusing on prior authorizations or patient financial clearance
• 1+ year in a lead or supervisory role preferred
• Familiarity with payer requirements, insurance benefits, and financial counseling practices
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office
