Financial Close Leader

Job Summary

To enhance financial operations, the remote full-time AVP, Financial Close Leader will direct enterprise-wide financial processes, manage audit coordination, and develop executive communications while collaborating with various finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Finance Strategic Management System and ensure alignment with organizational goals, promoting timely and accurate financial reporting
• Manage program oversight of finance activities, including maintaining a comprehensive finance calendar and communicating progress on key milestones
• Coordinate audit materials and collaborate with external auditors to develop and execute a comprehensive audit plan

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field; Operations or Project Management preferred
• 7+ years of experience in the insurance or financial services industry
• Strong knowledge of (re)insurance markets and audit processes
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other office applications
