Job Summary
Managing day-to-day accounting operations, the full-time remote Financial Controller will oversee full-cycle accounts payable, payroll processing, and tax compliance while supporting month-end close activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including vendor onboarding and payment processing
- Coordinate semi-monthly payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records
- Prepare and submit monthly multi-state sales tax filings and assist with compliance support
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting principles
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and proficiency in Excel
- Familiarity with tax compliance tools like Avalara and payroll platforms
