Financial Controller

Job Summary

To lead finance and clearing initiatives, the full-time Financial Controller will manage operational and financial risks, ensure compliance with CFTC regulations, and improve processes through automation, with the flexibility of remote work available in select states.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for finance matters, developing policies to ensure compliance with regulations and overseeing financial audits
• Establish and enforce internal policies to mitigate financial risks while advising leadership on regulatory changes
• Identify and manage financial risks associated with products, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, clearing, or brokerage services
• Leadership experience with the ability to manage teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in cash management and financial reporting activities
• Basic familiarity with CFTC regulations relating to DCOs, DCMs, and FCMs
