Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Financial Controller with strong expertise in government grant management and SaaS business models, this remote position will manage financial reporting, oversee compliance with GAAP and ASC 606, and ensure efficient SaaS operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP
- Oversee financial administration and compliance for DOE funded projects
- Monitor and report on key SaaS metrics, including ARR, NRR, LTV, and CAC
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA and/or MBA preferred)
- Must have experience managing government grants and compliance reporting
- 7+ years of experience in financial management, including SaaS business finance
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SaaS revenue models, and financial metrics
- Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems (QuickBooks Online)
