Job Summary
Providing compassionate financial counseling to clients nationwide, the full-time Financial Counselor with HUD Certification will deliver phone-based services while working remotely during evening shifts with a biweekly Saturday rotation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver phone-based financial counseling services and respond to client inquiries
- Gather and analyze client financial information to develop personalized action plans
- Provide housing-related counseling services, including foreclosure prevention and rental counseling
Required Qualifications
- HUD and National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) certifications must be obtained during training
- Ability to type at least 40 words per minute with 80% accuracy
- Full-time availability for 40 hours per week, including evening and biweekly Saturday shifts
- Experience in customer service, preferably in financial counseling or related fields
- Fluency in both Spanish and English is preferred but not required
