Financial Data Analyst
Job Summary
To support the organization's financial data analytic needs, the full-time remote Financial Data Analyst will utilize financial analysis and data analysis tools to generate, analyze, report, and interpret financial data, while leading various financial data analysis projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations
- Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to support accurate financial reporting and accrual analysis
- Identify financial trends, analyze underlying drivers, and present findings to leadership
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of statistical or data analysis experience
- Experience with financial analysis focused on month-end close, government reporting, and financial forecasting
- General knowledge of analysis tools, SQL, and Microsoft Applications
- Insurance industry experience is highly preferred
