Financial Data Product Manager
Job Summary
To support the Financial Data Team, the full-time remote Financial Data Product Manager will manage the evolution of financial data taxonomy, understand consumption patterns, and serve as a subject matter expert on financial data generation and presentation.
Key responsibilities:
- Own and evolve AlphaSense's proprietary financial data taxonomy, ensuring compatibility and future-proofing
- Define data generation rules based on financial data consumption patterns to enhance client accessibility
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align stakeholders on financial data presentation rules and maintain comprehensive documentation
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related analytical field
- 5+ years of experience with data structures, taxonomy, or data governance, including 2 years in product management
- Strong interest in financial data and capital markets with knowledge of data consumption by financial professionals
- Experience with AI and LLM tools, demonstrating curiosity about their integration into financial data workflows
- Proficiency in data management tools such as SQL and Python
