Financial Management Analyst I

Job Summary

Supporting federal financial management and internal controls, the part-time hourly Financial Management Analyst I will apply strong financial analysis and accounting skills to perform reconciliations, control testing, and documentation while primarily working remotely with occasional onsite meetings in Washington, D.C.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of federal internal control assessments and OMB A-123 activities
• Perform financial analysis, account reconciliations, and document testing of financial and business-process controls
• Gather and analyze financial data and documentation to support risk assessments and financial reporting activities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience, with 4-6+ years preferred
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• Strong accounting and financial analysis skills
• Experience with financial management, accounting, audit, or internal controls
• Knowledge of OMB Circular A-123, internal control frameworks, and financial reporting processes
