Financial Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading the Money Movement and Payroll Settlement team, the full-time Financial Operations Manager will oversee daily operations, manage a team of specialists, and ensure timely and accurate payroll funding and banking workflows in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team responsible for payroll funding, direct deposit transmission, and exception processing
• Oversee end-to-end clearing timelines and ensure compliance with critical cut-off deadlines to prevent payroll disbursement delays
• Implement operational controls and monitor real-time account balances, debit settlements, and payroll adjustments

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial operations, treasury operations, or payroll operations, including 2+ years in a management role
• Deep familiarity with NACHA rules, ACH clearing cycles, and modern money movement networks
• Prior experience with payroll service providers or B2B fintech platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience
• Professional certifications such as AAP, CTP, or FPC are a plus
