Financial Planning Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Financial Planning Analyst to work remotely, who will manage monthly expense variance analysis, partner with departments for budget reviews, and build financial models to support workforce planning and SaaS performance analysis.

Key responsibilities:

• Own monthly and quarterly expense-side variance analysis for assigned operating departments
• Build and maintain financial models for headcount and personnel costs, partnering with HR and hiring managers
• Track and analyze SaaS financial metrics, translating performance into executive commentary for reporting

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA a plus)
• 1-3 years of progressive experience in FP&A or Accounting, preferably in a SaaS environment
• Strong understanding of the expense side of the P&L and financial statements
• Advanced Excel and modeling skills, with experience in building multi-tab, driver-based models
• Familiarity with Adaptive Insights or similar FP&A tools is a plus
