Financial Reporting Manager

Job Summary

To support the financial operations of a global budget, the full-time Financial Reporting Manager will implement finance, accounting, and reporting activities while collaborating with the Finance Team and program leaders in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Produce monthly, quarterly, and yearly combined financial statements and analyses, including revenue recognition and deferred revenue analysis
• Assist with budgeting processes and prepare audit schedules while ensuring compliance with financial guidelines and regulations
• Partner with regional accountants to review local financial statements and support the global implementation of the annual RightsCon summit series

Required qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP (ASC 958) accounting standards related to contributions and grants
• At least five years of experience in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting and audit experience
• Proficiency in Google Apps, Microsoft Office, and financial systems such as SAP or Oracle, with advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills
• Strong financial reporting experience with the ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience
• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred
