Job Summary

To support a growing media brand, the remote Financial Scriptwriter will create long-form YouTube scripts weekly, ensuring all claims are backed by primary research and producing short-form scripts for distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Write one publish-ready long-form script per week, including a research memo and retention map
• Ensure all claims are sourced, maintaining compliance with content standards and retention targets
• Participate in weekly reviews and communicate proactively about deadlines and project status

Required qualifications

• Strong sourcing discipline with the ability to defend claims using primary documents
• Finance literacy, capable of analyzing complex financial documents
• Experience in writing for a high-value audience, particularly in a calm and institutional tone
• Proven track record of long-form content with significant viewer retention metrics
• Willingness to complete a paid work sample demonstrating scriptwriting capabilities
