Financial Services Instructor

Job Summary

To support student success in a virtual environment, the part-time Financial Services Instructor will engage students through effective teaching, serve as an industry expert, and deliver instruction based on prepared lesson plans while utilizing virtual classroom tools.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent teaching skills and engage students through virtual classroom instruction
• Mentor students by tailoring teaching approaches to individual learning styles and driving their success
• Communicate regularly with management and operations to stay informed of scheduling and curriculum updates

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of financial services industry experience
• Working knowledge of, or completion of, one or more Securities exams (e.g., SIE, Series 6, 7, 63, 65, 66, 24, or 26)
• Proficiency with LMS platforms and virtual classroom tools, including Zoom/MS Teams
• Reliable internet connection and availability to work during daytime weekday hours
• Adaptability to new teaching methods and course material alterations as needed
