Financial Services Sector Lead

Job Summary

As the Sector Lead for Financial Services on the Channel & Customer Research team, the remote position will oversee the development and execution of channel research projects, ensuring high-quality questionnaires and research outputs while guiding a team of analysts in generating insights from industry participants across banking, insurance, and fintech.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the CCR coverage roadmap for Financial Services, aligning channel check projects with investor demand and key market debates
• Lead the creation of structured questionnaires and expert sourcebase strategies to generate consistent insights across financial services companies
• Collaborate with operations teams and analysts to ensure the execution of channel checks produces actionable insights from industry participants

Required qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in equity research, market intelligence, or consulting, with a focus on Financial Services
• Strong domain knowledge of Financial Services, including familiarity with business models and distribution channels
• Experience in designing primary research frameworks and questionnaires for structured insights
• Highly analytical with the ability to quickly develop expertise across new companies and subsectors
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with research leadership and operations teams to ensure project feasibility and quality
