Financial Solutions Advisor

Job Summary

To support learners in overcoming financial barriers to education, the full-time Financial Solutions Advisor will develop long-term funding plans, provide comprehensive counseling on various financial aid options, and engage with learners through multiple communication channels in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with learners to review and guide them through federal student aid, military benefits, and self-pay options
• Maintain accurate documentation of learner interactions and track progression through the Customer Relations Management system
• Participate in recruitment and retention activities, including virtual events and webinars, to offer funding guidance

Required qualifications

• An earned bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of relevant work experience
• Strong knowledge of federal student aid and military education benefits
• Experience in a high-volume customer service environment, preferably in financial aid or higher education
• Ability to meet and maintain access requirements for secure federal and/or state websites
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
