Financial Systems Analyst
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Financial Systems Analyst will serve as a critical link between Finance, business operations, and technology, translating financial and operational requirements into scalable system solutions while ensuring data integrity and supporting continuous improvement of financial systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional support for Finance applications and business processes, partnering with IT to resolve production issues and ensure data integrity
- Develop and maintain business requirement documents and process flows to align IT development with business needs
- Collaborate with Platform Owners and Product Managers to translate business requirements into user stories and facilitate backlog grooming sessions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5 - 10 years of experience as a Financial Systems Analyst or similar role in a technology-driven organization
- 5+ years of experience in operational accounting and as an SAP Finance key user
- Experience developing business requirements, functional specifications, and test cases
- Understanding of Agile frameworks and experience managing multiple concurrent projects
