Job Summary

Leading a team of firewall security engineers, the full-time Manager, Firewall Policy Engineering will oversee the execution of firewall security capabilities, ensuring consistent implementation of security controls while enhancing operational efficiency in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of firewall security engineers, establishing priorities and operational work plans
• Ensure consistent and reliable implementation of firewall changes and security controls across the enterprise
• Identify opportunities for automation and operational improvement, reducing manual engineering activities and technical debt

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience in security or network engineering
• Strong understanding of enterprise firewall security concepts and network security controls
• Experience leading security or network engineering teams with a focus on process standardization and automation
• Ability to prioritize operational and project demands effectively within limited engineering capacity
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
