Firmware Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Driving the edge AI strategy, the full-time remote Firmware Engineering Manager will lead a team of engineers to develop and deploy AI models on embedded systems, ensuring high-performance production systems while shaping the technical roadmap for innovative safety features.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of firmware and machine learning engineers in optimizing and deploying AI models on devices
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and contribute to the design and implementation of production systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn AI capabilities into deployed products and shape the engineering roadmap

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of technical management experience with a focus on execution
• 8+ years of experience in embedded systems and edge machine learning development
• Proven track record of managing a team that has successfully shipped mass production products
• Experience deploying computer vision/machine learning models on edge devices
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
