Fiscal Leadership Fellow

Job Summary

To support innovative fiscal strategies for child and family services, the remote Fiscal Leadership Fellow will engage in a yearlong fellowship focused on enhancing funding alignment, developing leadership skills, and applying fiscal knowledge to real-world projects.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in monthly learning sessions and one in-person convening to deepen understanding of the child- and family-serving funding landscape
• Develop and implement a fiscal project aimed at maximizing resources and improving funding strategies for prevention services
• Collaborate with peers and experts to share insights and solutions, fostering a community of fiscal leaders dedicated to family well-being

Required qualifications

• Experience in managing, developing, or implementing budgets and fiscal policies related to child- and family-serving systems
• Proven ability to lead or influence fiscal projects or initiatives within an organization
• Access to decision-makers and partners necessary to advance fiscal strategies
• Strong understanding of funding streams such as Family First, TANF, Medicaid, and cross-agency financing
• Commitment to aligning funding toward prevention initiatives for children and families
