Fixed Assets Accountant

Job Summary

To support continuous business growth, the remote Fixed Assets Accountant will take ownership of fixed asset accounting processes, manage month-end close activities, and drive process optimization while ensuring compliance with internal policies and US GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SOX requirements
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset close activities, including reconciliations and reporting
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within fixed asset accounting workflows

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of accounting experience with substantial hands-on experience in fixed assets accounting
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX/internal control frameworks
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite or similar financial platforms
• Proven ability to manage high transaction volumes in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting and reconciliation tools
