Job Summary
To support a growing logistics operation, the full-time Flatbed Operator will negotiate and secure carriers for freight movement, maintain communication with carriers and customers, and ensure timely delivery of shipments while working remotely from the Western US.
Key responsibilities
- Negotiate and secure carriers to move freight in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Maintain continuous communication with carriers and customers to ensure high-quality freight movement
- Schedule pick-up and delivery appointments while managing route changes and delays
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of prior Flatbed Carrier Sales experience within a 3PL/Brokerage environment
- Solid understanding of Spot Pricing/Quoting for Flatbed loads
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent negotiation skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to thrive with minimal supervision in a team environment
