Flight Software Verification Engineer
Job Summary
As a key contributor to the verification of embedded software, the full-time Flight Software Verification Engineer will work remotely to develop and implement DO-178C verification strategies, create tooling for effective software verification, and oversee test development while collaborating with flight hardware in lab and aircraft settings.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the DO-178C verification strategy and its implementation
- Create tooling to ensure an effective and compliant software verification environment
- Oversee and author test development and perform tool qualification per DO-178C/DO-330
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with C or C++
- Experience in safety-critical software verification to meet DO-178C objectives or comparable standards
- Experience with requirements-based testing in unit test and Hardware-In-The-Loop environments
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent experience
