Flight Software Verification Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of software verification engineers, the full-time Flight Software Verification Manager will ensure compliance with DO-178C processes, manage software verification efforts, and provide training and mentoring while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direction and guidance to software verification engineers
• Own software verification efforts and triage issues found during verification
• Identify and manage the qualification of software verification tools according to DO-330 guidelines

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in safety-critical software verification to achieve DO-178C objectives
• 3+ years in a technical leadership or people management role
• Proficiency with static analysis and structural coverage tools, configuration management tools, and embedded programming environments (C/C++)
• Experience specifying and working with a range of test environments for DO-178C verification objectives
• Practical experience performing DO-178C verification analyses activities
