Florida Centralized Referral Agent

Job Summary

To support patient care coordination, the full-time Florida Centralized Referral Agent will manage inbound calls, facilitate referrals, and ensure timely communication with providers and patients in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound phone calls professionally and assist referring providers in finding appropriate care for patients
• Contact insurance companies for prior authorizations and maintain referral tracking documentation
• Communicate with clinical staff and patients regarding referral statuses and necessary follow-ups

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate degree is preferred
• Previous call center or similar experience is required
• Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
• Knowledge of TJC requirements and local, state, and federal regulations is required
• Experience in a medical setting or healthcare-related role is preferred
