Florida Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Florida Certified Medical Assistant will manage patient care tasks, resolve patient issues autonomously, and coordinate referrals while working remotely from Tampa, FL.

Key responsibilities:

• Resolve patient issues and serve as the point of contact for escalations
• Assist with screenings and accurately enter patient information during service
• Manage electronic health records (EHR) and coordinate lab tasks and referrals

Required qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA)
• Knowledge of healthcare field and medical terminology
• Experience with chronic disease management
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
