Florida Licensed Accountant
Job Summary
To support a growing accounting team, the remote Florida Licensed Accountant will manage accounts payable and receivable, prepare bank reconciliations, and analyze general ledger accounts on a full-time basis.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries and perform month-end workpapers
- Review and process invoices while following up on approvals and vendor statements
- Ensure compliance with SOX guidelines and assist in internal and external audits
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry
- Familiarity with Sage 300 Construction Software
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
- Understanding of financial controls and compliance requirements
