Job Summary
To support financial operations, the full-time Florida Licensed Accountant II will prepare complex journal entries, maintain balance sheet reconciliations, and produce financial statements in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain complex journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analyses
- Produce financial statements and budget-to-actual reports, including explanations of financial data
- Assist with annual audit paperwork and analyze project budgets for operating and capital expenses
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 2+ years of technical accounting experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot tables and macros
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and double-entry accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred
