Florida Licensed Accountant II

Job Summary

To support financial operations, the full-time Florida Licensed Accountant II will prepare complex journal entries, maintain balance sheet reconciliations, and produce financial statements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains complex journal entries, account analysis, and subsidiary ledgers
• Produces financial statements and budget-to-actual reports, providing narratives to explain financial data
• Analyzes and prepares accurate project budgets for operating and capital budgets, assisting with capitalized interest calculations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business
• 2+ years of technical experience in accounting (preferred)
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, including Pivot tables and macros
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification (preferred)
