Job Summary
To support the financial operations of a home health and hospice facility, the full-time Florida Licensed Accountant II will prepare complex journal entries, maintain balance sheet reconciliations, and produce financial statements while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain complex journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Produce financial statements and budget-to-actual reports, along with trend analysis
- Assist with audit preparations and prepare accurate project budgets for operating and capital budgets
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures in a healthcare environment
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and macros
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement preparation
- 2+ years of technical experience preferred
