Job Summary
To support the Instructional Design and Technology Master of Science program, the part-time Florida Licensed Adjunct Faculty will create engaging instructional content, conduct lectures, and facilitate online courses while working remotely and maintaining a student-centered focus.
Key responsibilities:
- Create an effective learning environment through diverse teaching strategies and active learning encouragement
- Conduct lectures and virtual meetings for both on-campus and online courses, ensuring student engagement
- Maintain industry knowledge and skill relevancy through ongoing professional development and adherence to university policies
Required qualifications:
- Doctorate degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Higher Education, or a related terminal degree with relevant graduate coursework
- A minimum of four years of verifiable work experience in instructional design for corporate training and media asset creation
- Proficiency in graphic design and experience with software applications such as Adobe Creative Cloud
- Association for Talent Development certification or Certified Professional in Learning and Performance preferred
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse student populations
