Florida Licensed Admissions Counselor

Job Summary

To support the intake process, the full-time Florida Licensed Admissions Counselor will conduct initial assessments, maintain communication with clients and referring organizations, and coordinate admission dates while working remotely with a varied schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial intake assessments and manage a caseload of prospective clients
• Collaborate with Evaluation Clinicians and maintain communication with clients, families, and referring hospitals/programs
• Coordinate admission dates in conjunction with admissions and program staff

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field preferred
• Experience in the mental health field preferred
• Proficiency in Salesforce and EMR/EHR preferred
• Demonstrates professionalism, patience, and empathy
• Excellent computer skills, including typing proficiency
