Florida Licensed Assistant General Counsel

Job Summary

Providing legal counsel and transactional support for procurement and technology transactions, the full-time Florida Licensed Assistant General Counsel will manage complex commercial agreements and advise on healthcare operations in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including master services and software licenses
• Provide legal support for procurement activities and supplier relationships across healthcare business operations
• Advise business clients on contractual, regulatory, and operational risks associated with technology and healthcare services

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with 5-10 years of professional legal experience
• Admission to at least one state bar, with the ability to be certified in Florida as Authorized House Counsel if admitted elsewhere
• Experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
• Strong knowledge of contract law and risk allocation principles
• Working knowledge of intellectual property concepts and technology transaction documents
