Florida Licensed Associate General Counsel
Job Summary
To support a growing legal team, the remote Florida Licensed Associate General Counsel will draft and negotiate commercial contracts, advise on regulatory compliance for marketing and advertising, and manage various legal matters across two affiliated brands.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including co-manufacturing, supply, and distribution agreements
- Advise marketing teams on advertising claims, label compliance, and FDA/FTC regulatory requirements
- Manage trademark, copyright, and consumer protection matters, coordinating with outside counsel as needed
Required qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing in Florida, or eligible for Florida Authorized House Counsel certification
- 3+ years of in-house legal experience
- 3 to 5 years of law firm experience
- Strong commercial and contracts background
