Florida Licensed Auto Liability Specialist

Job Summary

As a Florida Licensed Auto Liability Specialist, the full-time remote position will manage the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of Auto Liability claims, ensuring coverage and legal liability determinations while handling complex property damage claims with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations, including interviewing involved parties and securing evidence, to analyze coverage and determine liability
• Assume responsibility for property damage claims, including those represented by attorneys, while evaluating policy coverage and establishing reserve requirements
• Negotiate settlements and assess actual damages associated with claims, ensuring timely communication with internal and external stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of property claims handling experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Possession of or ability to secure and maintain appropriate state adjuster license(s) and continuing education credits
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to make informed decisions in challenging situations
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
