Florida Licensed Auto Liability Specialist

Job Summary

As a Florida Licensed Auto Liability Specialist, the full-time remote position will manage the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of Auto Liability claims, focusing on determining coverage and legal liability for various types of claims.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct investigations to analyze coverage, determine liability, and assess damages for both first- and third-party claims
• Evaluate policy coverage and establish reserve requirements while communicating with insureds, claimants, and attorneys
• Negotiate settlements and assess claims for potential fraud, collaborating with the Special Investigations Unit as necessary

Required qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of property claims handling experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Must have or secure and maintain appropriate state adjuster license(s) and continuing education credits
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to negotiate effectively in challenging situations
