Florida Licensed BSA Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, the full-time Florida Licensed BSA Specialist will perform quality control activities for new accounts, analyze member accounts, and assist with AML/BSA/CIP/KYC remediation projects, while working remotely with occasional onsite travel in Florida.

Key responsibilities

• Perform independent reviews of account openings to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Identify and escalate exceptions found in the account opening process and assist with remediation projects
• Compile data and prepare reports on quality control reviews and regulatory compliance activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, criminology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 3 or more years of experience in AML/BSA/CIP/KYC compliance within a financial institution
• Certified Bank Secrecy Act Professional (CBSAP) certification preferred or to be obtained within one year of hire
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and credit union products and services
• Ability to analyze complex problems and manage competing priorities effectively
