Florida Licensed Care Management Assistant

Job Summary

To support care management administration, the part-time Florida Licensed Care Management Assistant will provide non-clinical support for member assessments, manage inbound referrals, and coordinate service delivery while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process inbound referrals and physician documentation to ensure compliance with medical requirements
• Communicate with members and providers regarding referral statuses, benefits, and care coordination
• Maintain documentation of interactions and adhere to patient confidentiality regulations

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of Home Health or Infusion Pharmacy experience is required
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance is required
• Experience with medical authorizations is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel, is preferred
• Familiarity with medical billing is preferred
