Job Summary

Leading clinical informatics initiatives, the full-time Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) will oversee the integration of clinical IT systems across various care settings, advocating for clinicians while ensuring technology enhances patient-centered care in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the advocate for physicians and clinicians, promoting engagement with clinical IT and organizational strategies
• Collaborate with leadership and informatics teams to implement clinical IT initiatives and optimize clinical workflows
• Drive the adoption of electronic health records (EHR) and related technologies to improve efficiency and patient safety

Required qualifications

• Doctorate (DO or MD) in Medicine
• Experience with clinical information systems and EHR adoption
• Knowledge of emerging technologies, including AI and clinical IT innovations
• Residency trained in an ACGME-approved specialty
• Current or recent clinical practice within the past two years (preferred)
